An alert – only when someone is really there.

The camera recognises people and sends an alert to your phone – not for every cat or branch moving in the wind. Recordings stay on the memory card in the camera, so there’s no monthly fee.

When you’re away from your country house for weeks

The solar-powered outdoor camera needs no cables. The indoor camera pans around the whole room, and the door sensor alerts you when someone opens the door.

The indoor camera and door sensor work from -10 °C – in winter, they suit a heated or frost-free country house.

Children, pets or parents

See whether the kids are home from school and what the dog is up to – you can even talk through the camera. For parents, there’s a bundle with an SOS button: when they press it, an alert comes to your phone.

Your parents’ home will need internet: the SOS button hub connects to the modem by cable.

How it works

What happens when someone comes

The camera recognises whether the movement is a person and sends an alert to the IGLU SmartHome app. Through the camera’s speaker, you can tell the courier where to leave the parcel.

Outdoor cameras show colour video at night. Indoor cameras use infrared illumination in the dark.

Fewer cameras

One camera turns 355°

You pan and tilt a PTZ camera from your phone, so one camera covers a larger area than a fixed one. The outdoor PTZ cameras tilt 90°, the indoor PTZ camera 160°.

At any moment, the camera sees the direction it’s facing. The fixed solar-powered outdoor camera has a 125° field of view, the fixed indoor camera 102°.

Winter

How much cold the camera can take

Wired outdoor cameras work from -30 °C. Of the battery cameras, ISH039 is better suited to Lithuanian winters outdoors – from -20 °C.

The ISH039 solar panel charges between 0 and +45 °C. When it’s colder, take the camera down and charge it indoors via USB-C.

Privacy

Film your own garden, not your neighbour’s

If the camera sees only your home, garden or apartment, the GDPR doesn’t apply and you don’t need to register. If the view takes in the street, a neighbour’s garden or a nanny working in your home, the GDPR does apply – so point the camera at your own garden.

This is how Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI) draws the line. This is a short summary, not legal advice.

What the VDAI says – 5 points

How to get started

  1. Choose a camera

Pick a bundle by location or answer the questions in the camera finder.

  2. Check your Wi-Fi

The cameras connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Take your phone to where the camera will go and see whether it shows your home Wi-Fi.

  3. Get a memory card

For recordings, you’ll need a microSD card – it’s sold separately. You’ll find which size in the FAQ.

Not sure which camera to choose?

Tell us what you want to see – we’ll advise which camera or bundle will suit you and what else you’ll need. We’ll also talk you through connecting the camera to the app by phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a monthly fee?

No, if you store recordings on a microSD card in the camera. The card is sold separately. Cloud storage is optional.

What happens if the internet goes down?

While there’s no internet, you won’t get alerts on your phone or be able to view the video remotely. At a country house with a mobile internet modem, keep an eye on your data plan so it doesn’t run out.

Will the camera work at a country house without internet?

To send alerts and let you view the video remotely, the camera needs internet. At a country house without internet, a mobile internet modem with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi will help. It needs power.

All cameras connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Take your phone to where the camera will go and see whether it shows your home Wi-Fi. Cameras ISH055 and ISH056 can also be connected with a network cable.

Can I mount the camera myself?

You can usually mount the battery camera and the indoor cameras yourself. The solar-powered outdoor camera comes with a bracket, screws and a mounting template. The indoor PTZ camera can stand on a table or be mounted on the ceiling.

Wired outdoor cameras need 12 V power where the camera goes – a power socket or a cable run there. We’ll talk you through connecting the camera to the app and setting it up by phone.

Will the battery last through the winter?

The ISH039 camera has a 5200 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, one charge lasts 4–6 months, but this depends on usage. The camera also works in frosts down to -20 °C.

Below 0 °C, the solar panel doesn’t charge the camera, so charge it fully before winter and, if needed, charge it indoors via USB-C. Point the solar panel south, tilted up at 30°; the 5 V charging adapter is sold separately.

The ISH054 has a 7800 mAh battery and 210 days of standby time, but this camera only works from -10 °C.

What else do I need for the camera to work?

All cameras need internet and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. ISH055 and ISH056 can also be connected with a network cable. For recordings, you’ll need a microSD card – it’s sold separately.

The solar-powered outdoor camera needs no mains power. Wired outdoor cameras need a 12 V / 2 A power supply: the ISH053 comes with a 12 V adapter in the box, while the package contents of ISH055 and ISH056 don’t list one. Indoor cameras are powered at 5 V via a USB cable (ISH052 and ISH041 – USB-C, ISH040 – Micro USB), so they need a power socket.

What memory card do I need?

For recordings, you’ll need a microSD card: up to 128 GB for ISH039, ISH054, ISH040 and ISH041, up to 256 GB for ISH052, ISH053, ISH055 and ISH056. The card isn’t included with the cameras – it’s sold separately.

Will I see video at night?

Yes. The outdoor cameras have colour night vision, and the outdoor PTZ cameras see 5–10 m at night. Indoor cameras use infrared illumination in the dark: ISH052 – 5–8 m, ISH040 and ISH041 – up to 10 m.

Do the cameras work with Google Home or Alexa?

Yes. The cameras work in the IGLU SmartHome, Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps, and are also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

What will I need for the “Senior assistance” bundle?

The SOS button works via the ISH049 hub. The hub has no Wi-Fi: you connect it to your internet modem with the network cable included, so the modem needs a free network port. The indoor camera connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The hub’s indoor range is more than 35 m.

What does the VDAI say about cameras at home?
  • When the camera sees only your home, garden or apartment, the GDPR doesn’t apply. You don’t need to register or get permission.
  • If the view takes in the street or a neighbour’s garden, the GDPR does apply. So point the camera at your own property.
  • If part of someone else’s property still gets into the frame, the VDAI says it must be anonymised – blanked out or blurred. The simplest solution is to turn the camera so it doesn’t see anyone else’s property.
  • If the camera will film a nanny or carer in your home, the GDPR applies.
  • Even in your own home, respect the privacy of family members and guests.

The ISH040 and ISH041 indoor cameras have a privacy mode: turn it on in the app when you don’t need the camera.
