Will additional equipment be required for the device to function?
Wi-Fi devices usually connect directly to your home internet and do not require any additional equipment.
Zigbee devices typically operate via a central controller (Hub), which connects all devices into a single system.
A Hub is a small device that helps smart devices "communicate" with each other and ensures more stable operation.
